Morning and Night RoutinesBeauty, Home/Lifestyle, PersonalMarch 30, 2024November 25, 2024 Let’s talk about routines. Having morning and night routines literally changed my life, so don’t sleep on it!I’m here to tell you that all the girlies and guys proud of and trying to inspire with their routines isn’t just for show, it really can make a difference in your days (and nights). Due to some life events I recently kind of fell off of mine, but I’ve now reset and got back into them, and I’m ready to make this post to inspire as well.No matter what the days throw at me, I know I can count on my morning and night routines to keep me grounded, present, and romanticizing life. And I look forward to them very much every day.Making that time for yourself, to slow down and truly enjoy and look forward to is an amazing feeling.Romanticizing and “slow living” has become especially important to me lately, and this helps so much. So, here is some inspiration for your own beautiful routines/rituals. ♡ Morning Routine I know this isn’t common, but I love mornings. My morning routine is my absolute favorite.(If you aren’t a morning person, having a positive routine can definitely help you to become that more!) 5:55 am wakeup ♡Starting with some pup cuddles and saying some affirmations.Oral Care first: I start with oral care ever since I saw a girl talking about how bacteria builds in your mouth overnight, and how it may not be the best to drink first until you’ve cleaned. So I oil pull and brush before anything else. Then it is time to hydrate!Hydrate and vitamins: Then comes water/coconut water, herbal tea (mint, hibiscus, fruit), vitamins shot, and lastly my mushroom coffee (I don’t drink regular coffee anymore).I then try to journal every morning while drinking and waking up more.I do manifestation journaling/scripting and also just life journaling.I love my new locked diary! Most days I do an early morning shift, so I finish drinking while I work and let myself wake up even more. If I have a small breakfast I will usually also eat during this time (banana, banana/oatmeal, smoothie bowl)Then, it is time to workout, and get started with the rest of my day. I don’t usually mediate until the evening. My morning routine is very small and chill, but it is perfect for me. ♡ To add a little more idea/inspo, I have made my days a lot more simple and automated with the little tasks made easy as possible, to allow me to enjoy more of my days. For example, I have started meal prepping, to spend less time cooking (Except on the days I do want to of course) and simplified my beauty routine (DIY lash extensions are a dream come true, and I am ready to go at quick notice much more often, while feeling confident in myself).I keep my space simple and tidy, so I don’t need to constantly clean or organize things, and spend more time living life.Even if it looks different to you, my main tip is to try to automate the tasks you don’t want to take up as much time, to replace with things you would rather fill the time with. Life changing. Night Routine I am usually very sleepy by the evening, which I do like, but it does cause my night routine to be a little smaller.Which is totally fine with me! The art of the wind down: I start winding down at dinner time, usually around 5-6pm ish in the winter, and sometimes later closer to 8 ish in the summer. Give or take.If I still need to shower, I do so at this time, not usually late. (I might change that though)Dinner and chill: I will do my daily language lesson while I eat, and mentally prep the rest of the night. If it is warm and nice outside, I always eat outside, and just try to relax in nature. (very excited for this so soon!)I either spend some more time in nature with a mediation out there, or simply just relax with my pups/family, or if I can’t, I head up to start getting ready for bed.Personal care time: Washing my face and skincare, brushing teeth, refilling my humidifier, defurring the bed if needed, and picking out a movie/show to put on. If I am doing overnight heatless curls, I prep them at this time also!I will usually do one more big hydration during this time so I can be hydrated during the night without going to the bathroom constantly.(Sometimes I’ll do a sleepy time tea, which I need to do much more!)If it is a weekday I will cuddle with my pups, vibe, until I fall asleep very soon after. If it is a weekend, I might do a Lush bath first, then will usually game, actually watch a movie to actually pay attention to, or get on a call with my best friend.**One thing I’ve been making sure to do is wear actual dedicated sleep clothes/pajamas to bed and not just random things. It actually makes a huge difference. I’ve especially been loving sleep dresses! I feel like it makes you feel like a princess**Life is all about the beautiful moments that make you really live. And I truly think this is a great way to cherish that. I hope this helps to inspire you for your own routines, while still making them perfect for you personally. You can also explore the visuals below and on my Pinterest for more!
