Welcome to the new year babes! (I’m a little late with this post lol) Buttt, here is how you can glow up 2024, and become your very best self. (From someone who did it many times lol ♡)
The great thing is, no matter what age you are, you can “glow up”.
And you can redo it as many times as you need when you feel it.
All through my 20’s I’ve been continuously doing this in many different ways, and I hope these tips help you on your own journey.♡
Glowing up means something different to everyone, and can change as you go through life! Even now as I’m preparing for my 30’s I’m doing it in my own way again.
There are some basics though that can be your foundation that you build up and up on!

First things first, you need to actually put yourself first.
I know that can sound selfish, but it isn’t. You deserve your own attention.
Plus, you can’t pour from an empty cup anyway.
This means everything from taking time for self care, to removing negative people in your life, and setting up boundaries.
When it comes to self care, take time for the things you love. Baths, showers, skincare, journaling, creating, cooking, etc.
Make your rituals, with whatever makes you feel so good.
And use good products when it comes to those things.
Plant based, cruelty free, and vegan care products & food are IN (hopefully forever), and so much better for you than others.
Not only are you doing good for yourself, but you are doing better for the animals, the environment, and other people.
(If you already are there, you are ahead of the game!)
There is so much more info on this around the blog, or ask any questions in the comments/by email!
But yes, taking care of yourself is the biggest glow up you can have. You will glow from within too.
Take time for that bath, game night, movie night, social break, etc.
You will thank yourself.
Another important part of this as mentioned before is cutting out any negative people and energy in your life.
Personally, this absolutely changed my life.
Throughout my 20s I let everything distract and bring me down.
This past year, in 2023, I decided to go ghost basically and focus on me and my goals (including starting this blog!). Let’s just say I got more done in ONE YEAR than I had in several years prior.
Its amazing what you can accomplish when you literally stay in your own bubble and make the choice to change your life.
Save the energy you are putting into negative people and situations, and put it into yourself.
It can be hard to break away from toxic relationships, friendships, or feel like you are missing out.
I promise, you aren’t. And you will thank yourself for giving yourself peace, and focus into your own self.
When it comes to food, a big thing for me has been going back to my healthy ways, and meal prepping.
Plant based, vegan meals are all I eat, full of delicious fruits, vegetables, and plant protein.
It also used to take away from precious focus time for me to cook, clean up, etc, but meal prepping has been it. I meal prep my lunches during the day, and I make simple, healthy meals for dinner (sometimes with leftovers so I can save time with dinners as well).
Breakfast is a simple post workout shake, and something small like a banana or oatmeal before that if I want it.
Helping me to keep peace, and healthy options in my life even as a busy and focused girlie.
One evening of prepping (usually Monday mornings) sets me up for a whole week of healthy vegan lunches, saving me so much time that I focus elsewhere.
We can’t talk about health without also talking about exercise as well.
Even though many people are getting back into fitness or starting their journeys, if you aren’t a fitness person, you don’t have to be.
Just make sure you do get movement in your day, at least a hot girl walk, meditation walk, something like that to keep you active and feeling good.
If you want to do more with home workouts, or even all the way to a gym girlie, even better.
This one may be hard, but I honestly think it is really important.
UNPLUG sometimes.
And don’t spend hours a day scrolling.
Don’t push your furbabies aside to scroll, and be in the moment when with loved ones.
Not to mention, if you have big goals, this takes away SO much of your time.
Its okay to get inspired and whatnot, but doom scrolling is very time consuming and counter productive.
I heard something that said, you can either spend your day watching everyone else’s life, or live your own.
And, when you look back at your life make sure you lived and didn’t just stare at your phone.
These kinds of quotes really prompted me to get myself out and living last year, and will continue to do so this year.
Go do things you love. And make content doing it if you want to also (people love to watch other’s lives and it can make great content). Just make sure you are also in the moment.
It is a great way to make passive content that can help you and inspire others.
Find out what makes you comfortable and confident looks wise, and go for it.
I highly recommend finding inspiration that speaks to you, and use that to develop your own vibe.
Finding my personal style that I like and makes me feel the best ever in was also very life changing for me.
I worked hard to get better at taking care of myself and my beauty/makeup routine, as well as what I was wearing.
For me personally, I like more minimalist clothing and makeup, that also makes me look pretty, put together, and confident.
I starting wearing DIY lash extensions which cut time off of getting ready, and make me feel so pretty ALL the time.
If you like to be more creative with your looks and style, then maybe that is what will make YOU feel good and your best.
It is all about what you feel inside.
And OWN that sht.
When you are comfortable with yourself, nobody can tear you down or get in your head.
Last but certainly not least, we have our emotions and hearts.
I started journaling along with my manifestation scripting, and I love it so much.
Journaling can be done to get out intense emotions, or simply just log your days to look back on.
I bought a cute locking journal, so I feel comfortable with writing my heart out about my life, recording, for the future.
When I journal to get out emotions, or to help me heal so I can be more at peace, I will write then dispose of the papers, as that isn’t something I want to keep. I want it to leave with the emotions.
Yes, it is super theraputic.
That’s right. Don’t send that long text babe. Write it out, and release it.
Then go get your fave treat!
No matter what your personal journey is in life, these tips will hopefully help you with the glow up 2024 that you are desiring.
And you are completely capable of it!
Remember that a glow up is not just the outside, but inside as well.
I’m going to be updating this post as I grow, evolve, and learn more about glowing up myself.
In the meantime, thank you for reading and taking some inspiration from me.
Bringing positive, beautiful vibes to yourself and thriving in your growth and care is the best thing you can do for yourself. ♡
