After much inspo hunting and exploring of my personal style, I’ve really come to find that I really vibe with a dark feminine clean girl type style and also mindset.
I love to combine the dark, sexy, look & confidence (while also really playing up the feminine aspect) of dark feminine energy while also incorporating the modern minimalism of clean girl aesthetic.
Hear me out!

Both of these aesthetics and such are usually seen as kind of very different, but I honestly love how I’ve merged them together for myself.
& in this post let’s focus mostly on just style!
In clean girl fashion, I’ve really embraced more of a minimalist, capsule wardrobe.
While some people really express with their style, I don’t and I prefer simple, feminine, clean, timeless looks (with a heavier focus on athleisure).
Including some luxe looks for less and thrifting as I am working to promote that much more lately.
So let me show you some of the things that I have myself, along with some additional ideas/inspo!
Both warm weather, and cold weather styles will be shown here! Keeping it minimal so both can fit in one post. Will update as needed!
Hope you love the vibe too ♡
The Dark Feminine Clean Girl Capsule Closet
Side note: I don’t really like to promote overconsumption here on the blog and always recommend trying to recreate any looks with what you may already have in your closet!
If you do want to try to purchase more items, try thrifting first, even online – with ThreadUp, or at your local store!
If needed, mindful shopping on other sites such as Amazon, Micas, and more are always an option.

(I made some good inspiration pics to put through this post starting here! Make your wardrobe your own, but these can be a great guide. ♡)
To start, I generally like to have some simple, daily items that I can also dress up if needed, along with some more special/statement pieces for when I’m feeling that. You really don’t need a ton of items to make many great easy outfits!
Best Basics
A clean girl fave is athleisure type pieces, so there is going to be a lot of that here! Not all, but very centered around those kinds of items.
Overall, the color scheme tends to be very neutral and easy to have things go together well.
A small variety of leggings/yoga/biker shorts, couple pairs of jeans, and a few skirts is a good basic bottoms plan.
Simple leggings are so easy to wear with a tank in summer, sweatshirt or sweater in winter, or dress up for a night out sometimes. So many options just with leggings!
Shown above are from Amazon, but ThreadUp has amazing thrifted leggings options even from luxury brands!
Simple, yet feminine touched and easy to dress up or down if needed tops and dresses are ideal. Bodysuits are a fave of clean girl looks and keep things classy while easy to incorporate into different outfits.
& when it comes to loungewear, nothing is easier than throwing on a bodysuit with some jewelry, and if cold, a cute sweater or hoodie.
Scrunch booty and sweetheart neckline styles are the perfect way to add an extra feminine touch to minimalist outfits. I personally absolutely love this in mine!
Many simple minimalist tops and bodysuits like this offer multiple colors to simplify and allow super easy outfit planning. (Even ThreadUp for thrifting is possible to find this with if you search for similar or even the same styles in different colors! You can search for brands and get help finding similar looks)
Workout sets are a great way to keep things minimal, easy, clean, while being active & still keeping with the vibe. You effortlessly look good, and can mix and match being able to make many outfits out of less items.
Lots of sets like this are available on Amazon or simply thrift around.
It is especially easy to make your own using ThreadUp!
When it comes to bags, having one go to “everyday” purse, a tote, and a special “going out” purse is all it’s really been for me, and great for keeping a more minimalist wardrobe.
Some variety and different functions, but stays simple and something to go with everything!
Statement Pieces
We can’t forget the statement pieces! Regardless of having a capsule closet or mostly minimalist wardrobe, most people still want some statement pieces to add some special vibes to some outfits during certain times!
For summer/warmer weather, some special, sexy tops or dresses are ideal statement items. Regardless of how unique a piece is, there are usually at least a couple ways to style it!
When it comes to cooler weather, I personally think some unique jackets and boots take the win for best statement pieces.
Right now, especially racing jackets, faux leather jackets, jean jackets, and unique boots and booties are really in.
