Mid Year Reset – 2026 version ♡

Everyone seemed to love the visual/Reel I made about a mid year reset, so I definitely wanted to bring it to the blog and go more in detail.

Basically, going through a list of questions/points like this will help you to evaluate where you are mentally and physically, and either continue on stronger, or make adjustments and changes. I’ve personally done exactly this and got myself back on track after a very rough start to the year.

No matter what life this year has thrown at you, you can lock back in and succeed. I promise! ♡

(View it here)

1. Do I feel like I’m prioritizing myself and my happiness enough?

Pretty self explanatory – It’s your life, and your happiness and those who care about you should be top priority. But at the end of the day, its you who is there for yourself most. So make sure you feel good about the amount of energy and happiness you are giving to yourself, and your loved ones.
This can be through routines, self care, hobbies you enjoy, progress on a hustle, etc!

2. Routines – what is working and what needs to go?

Routines are incredible for keeping yourself on track and making the most of your every day, but everyone’s routines aren’t the same. A routine for an early bird like me who is inspired and motivated first thing in the morning may not be ideal for someone who is more a night owl and inspired later in the day/night. You may want to change when you journal, or when you workout, etc.
Listen to yourself and what feels right to you, and make changes accordingly.

3. How do my socials/algorithms make me feel right now?

This is a big one for anyone on social media (probably most or all of us lol). Your personal feed, following, and algorithm make up most of the content you are consuming. It can greatly affect your mood, emotions, motivation, and inspiration.
The best thing you can do is make sure you are following accounts/content that is good for you. Follow/unfollow accounts, retrain your algorithm to show you more of what you want to see, follow certain hashtags (if thats still a thing!), choose what social media you are on most (Pinterest for me!), etc. & try your very best to avoid doomscrolling.

4. Am I eating healthy & getting movement daily?

Regardless of your personal diet and health goals, these are things everyone needs in their day. If you are struggling with this, try your best to improve in this area.
Things like meal prep, changing diet, regular checkups, hot girl walks (even during breaktimes), are things to consider in this area.
Especially when it comes to food, check out my area of this here on the blog!

5. What do I need to release that I no longer align with?

This might be a tough one, but is probably very needed. This could be anything from old habits/patterns, people close to you that are draining you, clutter around your home (or digital too), or negative mindsets.
Some goodbyes lead to the best hellos, and if you are feeling called to release something, that intuition is likely right.

6. How do I feel about my finances/biz/career?

Many of us are feeling a little bit of a way when it comes to this topic, and just know that you are not alone. & it can inspire amazing change as well.
Whether you want to explore other options or add on a side hustle/creative hustle, there are lots of ways to adjust here.
Don’t forget to go through your bank accounts, credit cards, any debts, to look into new goals and changes to make.

7. What do I want the rest of the year to feel like?

The rest of this year is yours and it will be what you make of it. So ensure that you make it count!
Whether you want to get out and about more, or prioritize peace, slow living, and self care, you get to decide who you are, and how you want the rest of this year to feel. Even if there are things out of your control, you always have control over your own experience.

8. Am I keeping my goals in mind while also being gentle with myself?

We already had goals, and now the busiest season is coming up soon (aka the holidays!). So while living your best life the rest of the year, make sure you are being gentle with yourself about it too.
This is an important lesson I learned this year already and if I can pass it along to someone before they learn the hard way, I am happy to do so.
Basically, keep your goals and dreams in mind, but allow yourself to actually live and enjoy the journey. It is important.
Especially during the holidays. & decide how that looks for you.

with love,
Ash (That Veganista)
